Message Boards Streetgangs.Com has begun a series of different forums covering topics that range from gangs, crime, politics, race, hip hop, to culture. New forums will be created weekly so please check back to view comments, respond, and to check private messages that have been sent to you. We ask that you do not post any objectionable comments for many youth visit these boards too. Please register before you post a message or respond to one. A registration gives you more flexibility to create your own forums, to receive private messages, and to be notified if someone responds to your post. But before you register there a severals rule you have to be aware of that include and are not limited to: User Names: Your user name must be carefully selected. There will be no user names allowed that make reference to any gangs, criminal act (i.e., 187, murder, murdah, etc.), drugs (i.e., chronic, dope, budhead, etc.) or another person (i.e., tupac, snoopman, suge, etc.). If your name violates any of those rules it will be banned without warning. Please pick a "normal" or nuetral user name, make it short and to the point. We don't like gang names becuse it creates a reaction from the opposition, and then eventually several irrelevant comments are posted that need to be deleted. If you are not sure of the name to use, contact the administrator. Disrespect: If your post can not respect the identity of all gangs you will be banned from this forum. That means using words such as "slob" to refer to Bloods or "crab" to refer to Crips, or calling 18th Street "faketeen." There is an entire list of disses that I can list here but "you" know what is meant here. If you feel that you have to use disses to make a point for our users to read, then this is the wrong place for you and your user name and IP address will be banned. No Bangin': Your account will be permanently banned if you get on any board and start bangin' or "set tripping" on other people's posts. This is stupidity. Everyone thinks their hood is the biggest and baddest, etc, but that is not what this forum is about. It is not about bragging and boasting, but about exchanging ideas and most importantly information. If you are a member of a gang, feel free to mention that but don't start "going off" on a post or set tripping on another gang member. Save that for the streets. Respond with substance and If you see ignorant comments on the board, IGNORE them and the user. Those comments will be deleted but if you come across one, act as if it does not exist. If you resond to someone's ignorant and stupid comments before they are deleted you will be banned too. That creates more work in deleting the stupid comments becasue a string of comments may form. You do not need to be registered to read the announcements, which include many of the rules to the forum. Do this first before you register. If you are not aware of the rules in the announcements and you violate any of the rules, you will be permanently deleted. Banning Accounts: It is not easy to get banned but if you do any of the following but not limited to, 1.) creating post that eventually get deleted by an admin or moderator, 2.) Respond to silly post that are going to get deleted anyways. Just ignore those posts because they will get deleted, but if you are weak enough to respond, you will be banned too, 3.) Disrespect another user no matter if it your fault or the other. No excuses, if you feel the need to go off on this forum, then you are in the wrong place, 4.) Post false information on the board, and 5.)or threaten other members on the board. There are more rules posted on the board and it is your responsility to read them before posting and to keep up with all the announcements. Access: The most popular sections of the board are resticted to new members until the are granted permission. If you want to access to those sections of the board, make sure you have read the rules and then send a private message (PM) to the administrator to request that access. You will be notified if you were granted access. After entering the message boards, select a forum that interests you. You can view all the forums by clicking on Streetgangs.com Forum Index at the upper left side of the board. You will then be sent to a page that lists all forums arranged in chronological order. When you enter the forums, click the "new topic" icon to add your views to the forum.   Click this icon to respond to a post left by another user.
