What's up with asian g's and the bleached tails? Is it anything significant or just for the look?

I noticed a lot of asian g's rep black and white. Not sure if that's any gang in particular though. Especially lots of wannabes sport black and white.

I heard that a tattoo of three dots in the shape of a pyramid on the hand repped sureno. Any info on this?
