Re: Allhood publications, last issue

I've just ordered the issue, but it's weird because it didn't ask me to pay extra money for the shipping. I just paid extra taxes ($1.3).

Re: Alondra Boys and Compton gangs in the 1960's/1970's

thanks for the clarifications. i think the AX13 is for compton's alondra13 because its next to the CVLocos. both varrios are brand new in this picture, the mid 80's and since they are new, they would have mostly all youngsters and have alot of them locked up for doing dirt in this period. sleepy an...

Alondra Boys and Compton gangs in the 1960's/1970's

Does somebody know what the gang situation was in Compton in the 1960's and 1970's? I heard that after the Pirus were started, the Lueders park hustlers and some other gangs from the area became Eastside Pirus, and that they were pretty deep. Then there was a breakoff and Lueders Park Pirus, Lime Ho...

Re: IS THERE ANY STREETS IN COMPTON NOT RAN BY A GANG?

Around Compton Blvd and Acacia (mostly South of this corner) there are hit ups of a gang that I never heard about: PTCC (Peach Town Compton Crips). I don't think they are really deep, but they're trying to start something new in an area where gang density is huge (TF, TTP, PBCC, 70 TLS)...

What's weird is that they don't always claim Compton. They claimed "LA" in about half of the hit ups that I saw.

Re: CV DTW

My bad, it's CV DFW. DFW stands for "Down For War", I guess their turf is located on the former CV 70 Chicos' turf, because I've just seen a lot of hit ups in this area, especially a big ass graffiti on San Vincente and Castlegate.

I guess it's a tagging crew that tries to make its bones... i assume they cross out the t cause that area is T-Flats midget locos hood In Lynwood? Just South of the 105 Freeway?

[quote="alexalonso"]going from West to East, Piru Street turns into 137th Street when it crosses Avalon Blvd, then Piru Street resumes at North Paulson Avenue and ends at Mona, so it is not continuous through all that area. Piru Street only goes from San Pedro to Mona, so it's only located on the Westside of Compton. There are 3 blood gangs on Piru street: 135 Piru on the far West, Westside Piru, and Fruit Town Piru.

Yeah, they hit up L36k everywhere. But I don't think the Largos pay that much attention to them... They see them as a bunch of snitches, very low in numbers.

That's Palmer Blocc Crips. They have two major spots. This one, and the other one is East of Compton High, between Compton Blvd, Acacia and Myrrh.

@ Alex: The 2 areas that you are talking about are industrial zones, so virtually nobody lives there. What about the small stretch between Alameda, Alondra, Santa Fe and Greenleaf? Is it SSCC? Re: Hispanic Gangs in Compton in 1978

Hi Kim, I talked to an OG from Largo a couple of weeks ago. I showed him this map, and he told me that TF has never been in Largo's turf, that's to say between Willowbrook and Alameda. I saw another map that was done in 1987, and TF was actually located North of Rosecrans, but West of Willowbrook, e...

Re: Hispanic Gangs in Compton in 1978

Actually the Largos were started in 1948, which is not surprising because their neighborhood is the original barrio (in the sense of a pocket of strong Latino concentration) in Compton/Willowbrook. They died in the 1950s but were revived in 1959. This barrio, which actually covers Largo's and Locos...

Re: Street Kings: SoxLos: Sur 13 WTF is going on?????

What I mean I cant definitively say there are 1e11 folks on the east side of western. Maybe in those duplexes from 110th to 108th. Most folks between Imperial and 110 will more than likely be Block Crips and as you go north Underground Crips. Since they all roll together, you never know who is who....
