Re: Cosa Nostra and la EME...
Yes the scene in American Me actually happened, but James Edward Olmos played Chy Cadena He was not killed by his own gang the "EME"..He was killed by the NF in Palm Hall in Chino Prison after he went back to Prison on a Parole Violation. The sex seens are incorrect also and 2 producers lost there ...

Re: Cosa Nostra and la EME...
It happened in Los Angeles in 1971 Rodolpho Cheyenne Cadena and Joe Pegleg Morgan got out and confronted the LA Don of the Costa Nostra. I have never heard about the NF confronting any Costa Nostra members.Chy ended up in October 31,1972 going back to Prison on a Parole Violation, and 2 months late...

Re: Cosa Nostra and la EME...
They (EME) have no connection with the Costa Nostra in prison or on the streets period. They CN at one time was in LA taxing street gangs, until 2 big EME shot callers were released from prison back to the streets of LA and confronted the CN and told them that was about to stop and it did. Are you ...

Re: THE ORIGINAL 13 = MARAVILLA
One of the only reason why HMV was the one who led it to power or had a lot of members was because HMV was the one with the best hook up for product and connections. Because if it doesn't make "cents" than it doesn't make "dollars". Actually, it was the Hawaiian Gardens boys ("Huero Buff" Flores an...

Marafia
I saw a while ago testimonies of the existence of a secret group called Marafia, basically it's a band of Maravilla members from all over LA who proved they laid hands on made Eme members. I heard they cannot talk about the existence of the group and not even their own homeboys know about their memb...

Re: Gang ink
So by that logic a Sureno gang member who has never been to prison cannot have the word Sur or number 13 as tattoos? They're considered prison tattoos? Actually if I'm not mistaken, I think the 13 can be used since it's part of many gang names and it just means South/ Mexican Mafia. Also, It's not ...

Re: Gang ink
Had an argument with some friends. Does it happen that a member of the 18th street gang would wear Sureno tattoos? (Such as '13', 'Sur' and stuff like that.) 18st is a Sureno varrio so of course they get those types of tattoos (they have to earn them in prison though). Might be a dumb question but ...

Angel Valencia. I was unaware that Angel Valencia snitched. Do you have any information on that? What case? Who did he testify against? Actually I'm not so sure that he snitched but he definitely dropped out and debriefed as stated by Rene Enriquez in The Black Hand. I think it was Enriquez who tal...

Re: Mexican Cars in Prison
One last thing that I want to add is that the way a Llavero is described in the "Mexican Mafia encyclopedia" is someone who collects money from a street operation for a Carnal. This may be true for the "EME" and Surenos. For us the term "Llavero" is not an actual title. We would refer to somebody a...

In the interview he said "Who said the cops are off limits? Nobody said cops are off limits." He openly discussed EME business, but not directly. He may be able to get around it, but it could be something another Carnal could use against him in the future, if he wanted to politic against him. is th...

Ah, that cleared up some of the confusion. Your first post summed it up very well. The reason why my questions are so "particular" is because I'm interested in learning about the Mexican Mafia, Sureños, AB, woods, skins and even the basic routines that go on in prison. From learning about the module...

Re: Mexican Cars in Prison
The Mexicans run in prison with the Mesa, then there's the piseros, bloqueros, esquineros and tier reps, correct? But I was wondering, do the Mesas work for one Carnal exclusively, or the Eme as a whole? It's come to my understanding that sometimes there are different Meseros that are deployed by di...

Re: Mexican Cars in Prison
Yes, I realize all Sureños stick together in prison, but aren't there certain cars? Like, there are certain reps that call the shots for their car or is that only for the whites? I sort of understood that it was the llaveros/meseros that ran the yard for the Sureños, but each county has its own ranf...

Mexican Cars in Prison
So I know Mexicans group up based on what county they're from, but I have a question about MS-13, 18 Street and Maravilla gangs. Do each of these separate gangs have their own "car" in prison or do they group up based on their geographical location as well?
