Well perhaps why watts is considered the poorest is partially because of the ratio of cost of rent vs other areas. I have a homie who lives in Wascoe with a family of 5 and, there family makes $9000 a year and still making it... so..

I would say watts is poorer. Compton still got some major retail stores like circuit city. I heard somewhere that the average income for someone in watts was $11,000, compared to compton whcih was $20-22000.
