They are in a part of Culver City that is actually LAPD patrolled. Mar Vista projects, and the streets around it. But really nobody flags it or stays posted out in West Los like that. It's a sure way to get busted. But they are around, you can bet on that. Especially with the injunction against Cul...

I understand the spray paint thing, especially in LA where getting a can of spray is like buying a gun in some stores... so you got to use what you can get. I wasn't saying that Clanton 14 was norteno or even that Culver City 13 was norteno JUST BECAUSE they were wearing red.... both are obviously S...

Gangs are never clear cut. Never. If you have multiple generations of your family living in one particular region of LA, the likelyhood of having familia in another varrio is almost certain. For instance, I have family in Venice, Santa Monica, Culver City, Inglewood and Van Nuys. Each city or area I...

Santa Monica, 17th Street. SM 17. They never use the 17 and 13 at the same time. Well I should say I've never seen it like this: SM 17 13 SM13 is a different gang. Santa Monica had a bunch of different gangs back in the day - and I don't think they ever became one. SM 13 leads you to beleive they ru...

Venice's main/historic rival was always Santa Monica. If Venice and Sotel did go at it, it was decades ago... as Silencioso said.

Sotel and Santa Monica have the historic rivalry. They're neighbors. 18st beefs with EVERYONE! They got beef with Venice, CC, SM, Sotel, ING, anyone on the WS that isn't 18. I don't remember Sotel and Venice going at it though? Santa Monica seperates Venice from Sotel, so Sotel would have to drive t...

Haha! I saw the same documentary and it was funny. You can tell these were obviously a bunch Indios (Native Americans) that acted like Mexicans. Thefunniest part was when they showed footage of the Surenos and O13's (holding broomsticks) going at it.... The Surenos wooped that ass! All jokes aside, ...

Venice 13 is being taken apart from the inside out. They are turning a 60 year old barrio into a place where Julia Roberts would want to live. She lives there now amongst the huge ass houses. Most V13's are now moving to Inglewood and surrounding areas like Lennox, so V13 is still strong but they're...

I got family from V13 and they never mention Helms 13.

It's always SM 13, SM 17, CC 13 and the Shorelines. They're mentioning 18st alot more these days.

Isn't MC Blvd from Cx14? I saw one of his freestyles he was doing in an alley for some homeboys and all over the walls you saw "C14" hit up in red.

They are Surenos but wear red, similar to Culver City 13.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong?

When we crossed into Ciudad Juarez the gang graffitti was too much NOT to notice. Some of it looked pretty old but I'd say the majority was new. I didn't recognize any of it, and didn't see any "13" or "18" or anything that would give indications of LA-like gang culture there. I went to speaking roc...

That is crazy... maybe that has something to do with Varrio 13 wearing red now? Being down like that with the bloods. It's sounds like you were bangin ES or cool with them? Roy's barber shop on Henderson Ave was a awkard place - both gangs would converge there sometimes (ES & NES) and I never knew i...

I know of one gang there.... PBS (Puro Barrio Sandoval). Supposedly the biggest street gang in East El Paso that feeds into the Barrios Aztecas prison gang. I was wrongfully held for 12 hours in the El Paso county jail over a murder a PBS member committed at a bar. I was quized over El Paso gang cul...

I agree. I remember the big time beefs between NES 13 and ES 13 that seem ancient now. My uncle got shot over that beef in the 90's. We used to ride in the back of the truck he was driving because of the two bullet holes in the back. We would look out of them at unsuspecting drivers. It was fun for ...

You're right. They're active in the sense that they exist and have current graffitti up on the walls as of today. I've never heard of any actual violence between any of these gangs - but I assume they have current members that hang out alot and write on the walls. I heard Peavy Rd has an active Bloo...

Here is Dallas, the 13 is used to represent being a Mexican gang. So 13 affiliated gangs can wear red and even claim "Norteno" and it wouldn't be stupid or silly to anyone here because it makes sense TO THEM. My family is original Venice 13 from Oakwood to Victoria Ave - and I would have been 3rd ge...

There are active Folk Nation gangs in Dallas. Very active where I live which is off of Oates Drive on the Mesquite, Garland and East Dallas borderline. Alot of the Folk sets are small compared to the Crip gangs here, so they inter-mingle and claim themselves under an umbrella group that is neither F...

I think alot of people confuse hispanic gangs wearing red with "Norteno". Alot of hispanic gangs wear red in Dallas because so many affiliate with blue or black. Whether they are true "Nortenos", I'm not positive. Prison gangs in South Texas and in the Valley also affiliate with the "South" so Texas...

The Texas Syndicate uses variations of the Texas Rangers like "T" with a "S" shape of some form around it. Most common I've seen are a snake shaped S around the block letter T. They get more detailed and unoticeable but from I understand now - most Texas Prison gangs are not tattoing themselves at a...
