Re: Ultimate Fighting

One of the cool things about BJJ is the way the belts work. It's impossible for an 8 year old to get a black belt. There's no testing for it. If you're a white belt and you're consistantly beating up all the other white belts then they decide you're ready to level up. If your'e a kid, then you've go...

This is definately one of my favorite movies. I want to pick up the DVD though. My buddy said there's an awesome documentary on it. I gotta say anyone who hasn't seen this movie, check it out.

I've got a vintage Kawasaki street racer. It's part '79 and part '81. It basically looks like one of the bikes in Mad Max, only cleaner.

There were some spots in Hackney I drank at which were frequented by some hard Jamaican crews. I spent a lot of time hanging out drinkin with a couple of the older guys (in their 60's). They all had crazy tales.

Re: Ultimate Fighting

I'd recommend training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. It's one of the most practical marial arts out there. After Royce Gracie smoked everyone in the first couple of UFC's, pretty much everybody trains in it now to some extent. It doesn't involve a lot of striking though so a lot of people will also train ...

Is Sammy back in prison now? I remember a few years back he got busted for running ecstasy in Arizona (I think). I never really heard much about it after that though.

Hahah...that's awesome about the porn.

I don't know if Kim Jong would allow foreign terrorists in his country. NK seems pretty crazy when it comes to keeping people out of their country....as well as keeping them in.

Blakk, I respect your opinion, but I will never accept that Sharon is a good person. However, he IS taking some very positive steps right now and I'm glad to see it. Unfortunately I think you're right that there will never be a lasting peace between the Israelis and the Palestinians. I think the bes...

I always listen to oldies when I'm driving my crappy van that only has a radio. Everything else on the radio is shyt. Sometimes you get a good track here and there, but if I just put it to an oldies station I don't have to keep flipping through stations.

I see what you're saying, but I don't think Cuba is a threat at all. Sure they had nukes during the cold war, but they were just puppets of the Soviet Union. There's NO way that Castro would ever deal with Al Qeada. North Korea on the other hand.....Kim Jong Il is a nut. He's totally paranoid, and I...

Sharon is a bad bad man. His military carreer was held back because of atrocities he committed. He had no problems with killing innocent civilians long before the current infetada. The guy used to be known as "the butcher of Lebanon" for christ's sake.

I lived in Hackney for a few months. Lots of international gang activity there. Turks, Kurds, Jamaicans etc. etc. The real danger seemed to be from random violence not related to gangs. There's a lot of people there who are poor, drunk and pissed off. I had people trying to start stuff with me almos...

IN JAPAN THEY HAVE THAT SYMBOL WRITTEN EVERYWHERE ON THEIR SHRINES. IT MEANS GOOD LUCK! At Holloween this year all the Jewish groups in my area were freaking out because stores were selling Japanese halloween candy that had a picture little kitty with a swastika on it's shirt. Hmmm....well it seems the IRA is pissed off that they've been blamed and have pulled out of peace talks. In a statement earlier this week they told the government "not to underestimate the seriousness of the situation". Does anyone think the IRA could go back to war? It's been what, 7 year...

In responce the Rwandan military has been launching attacks o...
