no they are not active at all. they just write on walls but never post up. they used to be a taggin asian gang now they wanna throw up a 13? i know because my family lives around laveta and been living there for years///

I notice most Asian gangs beef is over a girl or something. It don't start with the whole gang but that one person beefed turn into the whole gang beef.

LOL! A lot of times it is like that. Well with OBS(Cambodian) their main rival is OKB(Laotian). They're the two big daddies in SD like how TRG and ABZ was in Long Beach. OKB and OBS used to get along in the 80's because they were refugees and had things in common. They would smack around the black and hispanic gangs. Then in the late 80's they were partying on the beach with some Cambodians from Long Beach. One of the Cambodians from Long Beach tried to pick up on one of the OKB's girlfriends. They scrapped it out for a bit and the OKB's went to get their straps and killed 3 Cambos. From then on it was on like donkey kong. When Cambodians and Laotians go at it, it's not pretty.

Khmer and Lao have that War mentality in them. Most came to the states after the Communists take-over of Laos and also the ending of Khmer Rough. If you know the history ... you would know how bad it was to live there. Can't forget about the Viets. They crazy too LoL

Had a friend where some V-Boyz broke into his house, tied everyone in the family up and beat the father until he gave the money. My friend was able to get away and run to the police station. THis took place in Monterey Park. Vietnamese gangs are pretty cruel once it comes down to home invasion.

Some say SD OBS was started by LA OBZ. But i don't know about that. They original SD OBS were Cambodian with some Viet. A lot of their OGz are back in Cambodia.
