Police ridin bikes in the 40s

i was around western and vernon 2 days ago and saw the police ridin bikes through the 40s wtf

is this a new police tactic or sum?

Im suprised they havent done it before

they especially do it in projects..cuz its easier to catch foos

The johnnies have been riding on bikes for years. I remember sunday afternoons on the shaw when it would be bumper to bumper and they would actually pull niggas over. Lol. No BS. And then if u tried to smash off, they would just radio in your plates and you'd still get burped up. I know a couple niggas who've got traffic tickets from them. That be some of the funniest shit a nigga has ever seen and heard about. But they've been riding around on bikes thru different hoods for years patrolling, so i dont think it was anything special about them being in the 40's They be about 6-10 deep

thats whats up...i guess ive never seen one before because we got sherrifs

I feel u on that. I ain't never seen sherriffs to that either but it makes sense. Lapd divisions be having way more officers than sherriff stations and only cover a certain area, while them same riffs you see in compton probably gotta patrol cpt, paramount, n/s lb etc. And lapd only do that shit in areas right by their station like in the 40's and or the 87's or mains etc

laws been riding bikes down in my hood in Houston since the 90s...they couldnt catch us coming out of them cars and vans so I guess they went to bike to be able to sneak up on muthafuckas quicker...this is newer in L.A?

nah you just didn't see it too much especially in SLA, but in Hwood, and west LA always been bike cops.
