This is a map that I created in 1999 of the 1972 black gangs in Los Angeles combination of a few sources and combined into one map.

Surprising not see Inglewood Family Bloods on the Map around this time.

In 1972 it would have been ChainGang. They were right on the other side of Van Ness but they may have been fading from the scene in 1972 because the Inglewood and Mike Christian had some of that area. I wonder if Chain Gang and Inglewood Crips existed during the same time?

Barefoot Pookie said in his interview you had some Crips in the Chain Gang and vice versa.

I'm sure i'm not the only one wondering if the FAMILY gang on this map, had something to do with the same name created nearby in inglewood, the same year or so. Maybe somebody moved from one place to the other? Like the Bishops did in that area.
