This explains exactly how young the Crips were. Literally children copying the style of Victor "Big Vic" Adams who was at Freemont High at the time. He could have only been 15 years old at the time himself.

Crips First Meeting took place on W. 83rd St. at Robert and Gerald's house. Between Broadway and Main, where they would come up with their new gang name.
