The Family(1971)

Many neighborhoods can not maintain themselves with the level of competition. They may get pulled into other neighborhoods or they just fade out. Only discuss those areas from LOS ANGELES that are gone.

A.C. remarks that they were just west of the West Side Piru St. Gang and were tightly allied with Piru St. Gang. Perhaps they turned WS Piru or 135 Piru.

I was able to confirm that this territory today belongs to Athens Park Bloods.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jxSTHh2RA5M 15:50 He pinpoints Jarvis St.

"Chapter Vii Leuders Park"

"There was a new group or Hood formed, who soon became our allies. This neighborhood was just west of our neighborhood across Central Ave. This neighborhood called themselves the "Family." Harold Tyeska was the Leader. Our forces joined and our numbers grew."

Seems unrelated, in fact looks like calling your gang the Family, Fellas, or Boys was very common if you didn't have a particular name in mind.
