AFC started as one of the hundreds f tagging crewz that popped up in the late 80s as an alternative to "real" gangs...

They eventually began banging and all the AFCs I ever met were blood affiliated, usually from the bottoms but also from other damu gangs

They also had a few AFCs that were marks from crip hoods and defected.
