QVo. Diamond St is an old barrio going back to the 1940s. From what Ive been told by family members and other older vatos from DST they were always some what of a small close knit hood. Thier hood boundaries are Beaudry (E), Glendale (W), 1st (S), and Temple (N). They have an old rivalry with Temple st (TST) which goes back atleast 60 years. Their rivals include Echo Park (EXP), wsXV3st, wsRockwood (RW), wsHead Hunters (wsHHS) etc.

My cousin banged with DST back in 83-86 till he got sent back to the motherland. I haven't heard from him in years. He was attending Virgil Jr High at the time he was from DST.

What does FMK stand for? A lot of Diamond Streets hood got wiped out when the Belmont Complex was built. But they have still managed to keep their hood after all these years. I had a homie that stayed on Court up the hill, there were always DST's posted up there back in the day.

there needs to be some real history about the west side hoods, we all know the well known varrios in the echo park area, like exp diamond obs ahts btls tst rwst those are the main hoods around there..gibby you seem like you know some sort of history but not enough, like how angelinos and diamond had family ties within the two gangs or obs having families in tear drop and los crazy mexicans, or echo park getting along with btls back in the days
