Long Beach & Compton

Just out of interest. Why is it that both of these seem to have a strong aversion off each other? On here and on other places, i heard a lot of people talking bad about Long Beach and vice versa. Why is it? Just local rivalry?
I mean i know this kind of shit out of my city, i am just wondering wether it has a real reason or not.

most hoods on the south of compton dont fucc with the 2N's cuhz they killed the homie from ADCC but other then that it aint nothing major its just we both feel are CCitys crack the most but we all know the truth when it come to that

comin from a e/s longbeach perspective, thats between n/s longbeach and compton.
yes e/s lbc's run across CC's & RU's but from my experiance most of the CC's and RU's i've ran across gave me mad love because of my affiliation (in the hub city) but i've ran across those who just dont give a #@*$. i've only had 1 "personal" issue with 1 compton hood but thats another story.
