Their main hood in in Central Los around Vermont and Leeward. The only click in the area that I can think of right now is their Leeward click but I know theirs more. They also have Hollywood Locos I think. They have Adams Locos around Adams and Western but you wont see them their anymore, the closest you'll see them over by the Ranch Market on Washington. They also used to control part of my varrio back in the days but now the ones left are in the Jungles. They even have a NS in the valle around North Hills. For some reason I cant think of the names of theirs clicks right now but I'll let you know when I remember.

The reason I ask is because v v v v

1 - 18ST has had a long history of clikas having problems with each other over the years, as well as different sides having problems with other sides.

2 - MS down in El Salvador & Mexico "do fight each other", just like they fight other Maras from Mara 18ST & Mara 13Sur.

The word “MARA” is synonymous with “GANG” in both Central America & Southern Mexico, but the origin of the word derives from the word “PLAGA” (plague or infestation), as in large numbers such as a swarm, a crowd, or a throng. It was taken from a 1960s film titled “MARABUNTA”, which was about “Killer Ants” from Brazil. And subsequently it became used for describing in a derogatory manner, the groups of youth (gangs), who perpetuated many of the street crimes in those days. But MS is still trying to organize all the Centros out of the reach of La eMe, especially in the MidWest.

While La eMe has strong ties with Los Arrellanos, on the otherhand, La Mara has been working in turf controlado by the Juarez Cartel -enemy numero 1 of the Arellanos. Kinda makes you think just what direction La Mara is heading towards (?).

I see La Mara moving away from Califas and concentrating in Mexico and other parts of the U.S. outside the reach of the main players here.

By the same token, I see 18ST doing the same, but with the difference being that 18ST is firmly centered in Califas and tied with La eMe.

Gotta wonder just how these two may be playing out the "real" war outside of Califas, que no?

More and more I hear how the Centros are doing things different than the original ones from L.A. And while there is still a large number of Salvis in MS13 Ranks, the vast majority of them are Mexicanos from Southern Mexico who play by different codes and ethics that those in Califas.

The fact remains that the Juarez Cartel has been moving in on others turfs from coast to coast and they need people who do not hold to the traditional alliances and have no qualms about breaking ties. From TJ to Nuevo Laredo & Matamoros on the Gulf Coast, one can see the carnage being played out on account of the moves being made by Juaritoz.
