Gangs that are surprisingly enemies

Every so often gangs feud that you would not expect because traditionally they have had some common trait that has bonded their relationship. One recent conflict that is a bit shocking is the one between the Mansfield Gangster Crips and the PlayBoy Gangster Crips.

Traditionally they were always cool, since middle school and before many of them grew up together, but all that has changed. Also they are both Trays, and that was not enough to prevent the conflict.

When the East Coast Crips and Florencia 13 went at it back in 2000 (?)

and when the Blood Stone Villains and Pueblos went at it was really a shock.

Are there more rivalries that are surprising to you?

MFGC and PBGC always had some sort of conflict going back to the 80's. Not as serious as it is now, but there was always something.

SYC v WBC
BPS v R20's
BPS v HPB
NHP v IFG

Those are all I can think of now.

Back in 1996, the Black P Stones (Jungles) had a brief conflict with 62 Brims. There was actually one person killed, I Wicked Wink, but that got resolved as many believed that the conflict should not lead to set tripping.

@AztecNinja- What do you think caused them to become enemies?

The beef with State was over writing on the wall around the prospect park area, a park we "shared". It then escalated to fist fights, shootings. It still wasnt outta control till someone from State died, then it crossed the point of no return. ELA beef was over a bike that one of the older ELA's jacked from the nephew of a high ranking PF member, and the beef with Cuatro was over a mother of one of the gang members getting robbed.

No prob, the stories now of the beefs are probably waaaay blown out of proportion, but I was very active on the front lines when the State and ELA beefs started so they are prety accurate. Its crazy thing got to crazy too fast with State, its a ugly bloody war now with State catching the blues. The ELA beef never got too bad, a couple of the ELAs got shot but not fatal, the uncle whose nephews bike statred the whole mess got stabbed, and at the rumble with them we lost lol. Those ELA are known as very good fighters and they sure are..lol but they couldnt hang when we turned up the heat, but we still party with the older ELAs, but theres still beef with the some of the homeboys, it a strange situation. To be honest Cuatro has really given PF the blues, there have been plenty of sit downs to talk peace and last I heard there is a tenative peace agreement but PF took several casualties so not sure how thats gona work out. Now as a neutral party I can say I believe beefing with CF was geting in over PFs head considereing the resources and man power at the time. Not to mention PF has waaay more enemies than CF so it was a bad idea.

@ AztecNinja- It seems that once someone is killed, the prospects for peace is virtually gone. It also appears to depend on who is killed and the way they are viewed amongst their fellow gang members. It sounds like the ELA, State beef has gone past the point of truce especially amongst the youngsters. I think that the older members could possibly be more receptive because of the years already spent putting in work for the set, but you know better than me. That's some good insight you shared homie, appreciate it!

Bps and 20s don't beef. They have had problems but fought it out even had a couple rumbles. Alot of lies have been spread online but i been in this area most my life. Some Bps and 20s hang out everyday and you still see Rollin×Stones and RTBPS hit up sometimes to show their close relationship. Same thing with Fruit Town Brims. 20s and Ftb were crossing each other out for like a month before the OGs made them lil niggas line it up. They had a small problem at 20s hood day but met up and fought the next day at Loren Miller park. I seen this shit 1st hand so can't nobody say shit. All the Brims and Bps are real close with the 20s and always have been.

If you watch that Hot Sauce "really from the village" remix, you will see alot of 20s in there and some throwing it up and he is from Bps. Also, in that nigga Fingers from Ftb music "whoopin", its alot of 20s in their also.

The Maravilla gangs beefing with each other surprises me. I figure having the same name and of course being green lit and at war with all surrounding Sureno hoods would make them naturally form ties.

Were the Maravilla hoods ever allied?
