I was near Kittridge and Vineland in North Hollywood. This are was known as Boyz From the Hood (BFTH) for many years but I think they faded. Just south of here is Clanton 14. One of my North Hollywood contacts told me about a tagger crew called 129 OTN. I see a "9" but not "129".

Any ideas?

SEEMS LIKE IT HAS 129 ON THERE, BUT SOMEONE TOPPED IT WITH A Z. COULD POSSIBLY BE 1 OF THOSE RARE SCREW UPS.

129 as in "KNL129" KNL129 was a tagging crew back in the early 90's

KNL 129 = Kingz n Lords, Kids Never Learn. Old school tagging crew. A few of them got into Vineland the ones that were left turned it into a gang. I believe it was 129 Klump St

Yeah, I think there are Klump Street, but on the LAPD North Hollywood gang map they are called "129 OTN"

Back in the days there was a crew in North LA that claimed back up from 18 (who didn't in the early 90's) called TON - Terrorizing Our Nation, and they used 209.

I don't know if 129 is significant as a address but the connection between 129 and OTN is just for style / similarity

That makes a lot of sense.

129 started as a crew and eventually wilded out and turn into a clique or gang. OTN stands for Only The Notorious.

I think they dont exist anymore. No hit ups and no one ever mentions them.

129 isn't a gang anymore, it's now a click of Vineland Boys. I'm seeing graffiti recently of them tagging "VBS X3 129".

A guy who tagged Gex told me he started 129 back in the early 90's. He actually asked me to join and I would go out bombing with them from time to time.
