The creater of the Avenues logo

Unread post by alexalonso » March 21st, 2013, 10:23 pm

A guy named Bosko may have been the created of the Logo somewhere between 1973 - 1974 when 1962 generation was in Jr. High School. It came out in Teen Angel years later.

I heard this logo has been copied by another neighborhood.

do you have a copy of that early 70s Teen Angels with the Avenues logo?

questions ~

can a gang or an indiviual copyright a logo they created, such as this one?

or has it ever been done by an actual gang member?

im pretty sure it can be done since The Mongols have thier logo copyrighted ...and no one else can legally use their logo

and does anyone know how much it cost to copyright something?

The homie did a copyright on his idea for a clothing line and he said it was around $500.

I am sure it can by copyrighted, you just have to go through the process. I dont have that teen angel, but I think Bosko's name was Phillip, dont remember his last name.

I remember seeing the maker of that logo in some grafitti documentary how he used to have that skull engraved on a big piece of steel so he'd just paint it in with a spray can

Chazz goes back to this period, but not sure if he was connected to this skull.
