That's East Los. East LA cholos were still rocking it pretty much traditional cholo in '88. In West Los, however, cholos were all over the map with clothing style in the late '80's. Old schoolers, stoners, cholo-punks (Sui style), dance club trendies (acid washed jeans etc., mullets). By '92/'93 things had settled into the pelon/hip-hop gangsta style.

THIS IS THE ORIGINAL CHOLO STYLE. AROUND '92/'93 THIS LOOK WAS ABANDONED AND WAS REPLACED WITH BALD HEADS,SIZE 50 PANTS AND THEY GOT RID OF THE SLICK BACK HAIR AND HAIRNETS. EVERYTHING ELSE PRETTY MUCH STAYED THE SAME.
