I have been to Rosewood Park. It got hood when the sun came down. A lot of homies were playing basketball!
I was at a kids party there. It seem like a no-man's land. My family was from C13 Clara Street. Didn't seem nervousor anything.

the only varrio that I know of that has roots and is a true homegrown in Commerce is v. Choppers 12
even tho they claim EAST LOS have it tatted on them y todo
Commerce is mostly an industrial city and considered an extension/part of East Los by the Raza
I grew up going to the Commerce theatres on Whittier Blvd, as a morro, even with the homies as youngsters, when you always got 2 movies for the price of 1.
i personally know some Choppers 12 (one in particular hangs out with us tuff as both his carnales are from THE LOTT)
Many other varrios have had members live in Commerce, even slang there
but only Choppers 12 - imo - is truly home-grown
East LA Rifa -
I've always assumed they were offa Olympic blvd, next to King Kobras.
Thats where I would always see there placasos in the 1980s.... Last vato I saw from ELA Rifa was in the early/mid 1990s, so I dont know if they around /active anymore

Re: CITY COMMERCE
in regards to ESC12 being homegrown city commerce, yo no se pero boogie threw up that they actually started out on the west side before they moved to the east side., i'll see if i can find his post on that and throw it up here to keep it going., but anyways, ESC12 is from the bristow park neighborhood, and they cross the 710 to lovett, triggs, tuttle, but correct me if i'm wrong, they don't head into bandini nor rosewood park neighborhoods, and those two areas "are" city of commerce, right?
i understand the fact that city commerce is mostly an industrial area, but still, there's 3 neighborhood areas in there, and they're not uppity neighborhoods either, so it puzzles me that they don't have any old established varrio in them, only ESC in bristow park.
