You don't have to be Latino to be from a Sureño gang.
You can be any race. You just have to be down with the SUR13.
I've met white, Asian, Middle Eastern, Native American, and even black sureños. Black sureños are very rare but there are some.

Most Sureños are Latino but they have every race repping the 13
