Any history on this East LA gang? Where did they get the name Vikings?
They are located off Indiana St and Whittier Blvd.
I read in 1970 they renamed Laguna Park to Salazar Park in memory of Ruben F. Salazar who was killed by the cops during the East LA riots. He was a journalist for the LA Times.
I'm still curious how they got the name Vikings.
