El Centro in Hollywood

I was in Hollywood yesterday. I cruised down El Centro from Santa Monica to Melrose. I was expecting to see Rebels or TMC hit ups. I only saw one ABZ13 hit up. Alcoholic Boyz.
Seems like Rebels and TMC are dead in that area and ABZ is coming up.

Does anybody know where was Rebels Trece original neighborhood on the west side before they established in Hollywood? Weren't they a clique off Temple Street at one time?

Lol I didnt go down sunset. When I used to live in Hollywood Santa Monica Blvd was the hooker spot. So many tweaked out hookers slanging ass. Alot of trannys too. So many trannys lol

From what I recall reading, Rebels did start as a Temple Street clique, but they went under a different name. They changed to Rebels sometime in the late 50's to early 60's.

Here's what I'm not sure of though -- were the Rebels based in Temple Street's main hood, and then migrated to Hollywood... OR -- did Temple Street have a clique in Hollywood that later became its own independent hood (kind of like how Florencia has a couple small hoods on the west side, far from its main hood).

There was also a Compton Rebels in the 80s and 90s from what I've been told.
