First of all, if she was a victim of having someone cut in front of her, without the individual doing the cutting, having no remorse, and being arrogant about it, then he (the fool that cutted) deserved the bashing that he received. He thought his shit was going to stand, because the person he offended was a woman. There may even be some racial undertones; doesn't have to be though.

Now to your original question:

I wouldn't probably fight a guy that size, but I do know that I'd shoot to kill, a man that size-and mind you, I'm not small fry myself (six foot four; two-hundred and forty pounds). Then again, with my army ranger training, and martial arts training, I think I may be able to take that fool...

If I was there I would probably try to help. It has been shown that when there is a crime or fight with afew people around nobody helps out because the other people aren't helping. But if one person tries to help the other people will then also help. So with that said I would try to clock that guy over the head with something like a chair and hope that the other people would also help me out.
