purplecityhello wrote:how did all you overseas kats find out about this forum and find out about Gangs out here stateside?
Cant remember exactly how I found this place, think I was searching something and found a link to a thread on here.
As for finding out about gangs stateside? Dunno, always just assumed there was gangs out there I spose, never really gave it too much thought. All countries have gangs of some sort, ya get me?
First started really hearing about them through films like The Warriors and Menace II Soceity etc and then various books like Do or Die/Monster etc and then also sites like this.

WhiteBoy wrote:they covered it with clay?
whats it like? does it smell? do you have to decontaminate yourself afterwards?
Yeah the clay prevents anything from leaking through. No there is no smell. It's not like a trash dump. When it first happened the people's houses were sitting right on top and it wasn't the smell that alerted them. It was the shit in their backyard that spontaneously burst into flames that let them know. Along with the deaths and sicknesses. I know it doesn't smell now. I think the clay stops the smell. I'm not too sure if they could smell it when it wasn't contained. Possibly. Nobody actually go's into the dump site because it's surrounded by a fence and very high security. (Cameras) However you can walk right to the fence and everything. So no you don't need a suit. LOL! However some people believe that the chemicals leaked through. But it's never been proved.
No offense was taken

yeah dude, those fish and game guys don't play, we shined a lazer pointer on one of them and the guy pulled an AR15 out of his truck,
they like get all the privilages that a cop gets but they arn't regulated by any state laws that cops are. they get a badge, a vest handcuffs and a pistol... its weird since all they are supposed to do is check to see if people have park stickers.

Or how about "I see two suspects running East heading towards the big Red Wood!! They are wearing orange camoflauge! With black hiking boots! We are gonna need the ATV for this one! Over!"

I’m chuckling at Purples list, I went and had a holiday to New York a few years ago. Before I went, I had so many warnings about street crime I got worried. My mate was living in Brooklyn, so I stayed in her house. Really liked it in Brooklyn, cant remember the area tho’.
One day, I got bladdered on some good beer in the North Bronx, and two big black fellas came up to about 9pm as I was looking for a different pub, and advised me to get a cab away from the area. They was good lads them two as I genuinely had no idea if I was in a rough spot. They just laughed at the boozed up foreigner.
Only time I went to the South Bronx was to watch the Yankees, (never seen a baseball game before then).
I also got my tube trains mixed up and got off at Jamaica, Queens because I was on the wrong train one day. I went to try and find a sandwich shop or a pub and some copper told me to “go back to the train”.
I really like NY, but it’s potty that the fact you get lost could get you into some bother.

Heh, I’m not rich, but I am white.
I don’t talk as I write. Like everybody I have an accent. I don’t write lazy like most people. Writing in slang is lazy. I’m not posh either, should I write with cuss words to be accepted ?. Lol, you couldn’t understand what I wrote ?. It’s in English, I couldn’t make it any plainer. If I wrote in UK slang, the Yanks couldn’t understand it.
And Purple, you could be right about the local guys not wanting me to be a victim. Maybe the media blows up all these areas and creates fear zones ?. Maybe they were just good people I bumped into ?. There are some left in America, which I think is something this board’s users sometimes forget.
Anyhow, peace all.
