BARRIO BOYLE HEIGHTS

Many neighborhoods can not maintain themselves with the level of competition. They may get pulled into other neighborhoods or they just fade out. Only discuss those areas from LOS ANGELES that are gone.

Does anyone know the old turf for Varrio Boyle Heights? I am certain that this neighborhood does not exist anymore.

They had a few blocks on Chicago around 3rd street for a little while in the 90s, me and a few of my homies ran into a few of them in Alhambra before too, we started exchanging words but didnt end up fighting, I forgot how it got difused.

BHTS was going south on Boyle Ave, south of Brooklyn around White Memorial, always a small varrio, defunct for many years now.

the borders would been more or less, the hospital and south boyle avenue to the west, chicago street to the east, third street to the south and brooklyn avenue to the north, that used to be BHTS varrio roaming zone

I didn’t think they were east of the freeway. Wouldn’t that have overlapped into La Tercera. 3rd Street’s main stomping grounds were Hollenbeck Park and All Nation’s Hall and everything in between. I always considered BHTS south of Brooklyn in between 101 and 5/10 freeways.

Yeah you're right, BHTS was mostly west of the freeway, and 3RD ST was east of the freeway up to Soto and All Nations.
