WHo were the Figueroa Boys?
Were the Figueoroa Boys Bloods or did they become Bloods? Or did they turn into the Denver Lanes? Or did the Denver Lanes start from their own branch?

The figueroa Boys were never Bloods, the denver lanes used to be they own gang from scratch.
they were not even in the same area, i think they turned crip

that would be very interesting to know ... Inglewood Family Bloods can trace their history back to The Chain Gang
Nutty Blocc can trace their history back to the Original Grandees...
i think if it were true, The Denver Lanes would be pushing it - as thing to be proud of
what year did Fig Boys play out?
what is the offical start year of DLB?
you'll have your answer ^^ if their right next to each other by a year or two
4 to 5 years gap... who different generation .. imo

Re: WHo were the Figueroa Boys?
The best I know at this time is Figueroa Boys from 1969/70 and they were on the LAPD map in 1972.
Denver Lanes were definitely on the map in 1978 but dont know what was the deal from 1973 - 1977. According to Allhood Magazine Issue 4, the Lanes and the Fig Boys were 2 separate hoods that co-existed during the same time 1970 - 1972. I just wonder why the Lanes were not on the 1972 LAPD map.

Re: WHo were the Figueroa Boys?
Probably the same reason why East Coast is not on the map
I personally believe ECC started in summer of 1978,
Was in full swing by 1979
and blew up all across the East Side in 1980 … that’s my own personal conviction though
then they expanded and was able to pull in hoods that were around for 10 years older than ECC was
…………
Denver Lane Boys was the original name... I dont know exatly what year they came out
They added the Blood after the Blood movement began (anti-Crip)
.

Re: WHo were the Figueroa Boys?
I got the map from 1972 and the denver lanes are on there as a seperate gang. The fig boys got smashed out by the original west side crips and original hoover crips.

Is this not the same as 77Th St. Boys it seems that A.C. Moses identified them as the same gang in his interview. Richard Myles and his family.

He also remarks that Richard Myles although having no plans of ever working with Raymond Washington and the Crips ends up starting the 357 Pomona Crips.
