Smacks on Westside (circa 1970-71)

Many neighborhoods can not maintain themselves with the level of competition. They may get pulled into other neighborhoods or they just fade out. Only discuss those areas from LOS ANGELES that are gone.

Smacks on Westside (circa 1970-71)

The Smacks was a gang that Stanley Tookie Williams rolled with. I think Barefoot Pookie was also apart of it.

the Smacks were most likely based in the 100s, north of Century, so not all future westside Crips were affiliated with it.

The Smacks were very short. In fact, many guys from out the 70s and 80s that became Westside Crips, never heard of them while they were out. They only know about them from hearing people talk about them.
