Mid City Vatos Locos

Many neighborhoods can not maintain themselves with the level of competition. They may get pulled into other neighborhoods or they just fade out. Only discuss those areas from LOS ANGELES that are gone.

I don't know how accurate this Los Angeles magazine from January of 1998 is, but it stated that there was a "Vatos Locos" gang, with seven to eight members, in the Mid City Los Angeles area, they were originally an East L.A based gang that died out in the 1980's and started a new hood in this area, there hood was right between W. 15th Street and Arlington Ave, and were surrounded by Barrio St. Andrews and Mid City Stoners 13, aswell as Rolling 20's Neighborhood Bloods.

In my opinion a "gang" that's only 7 to 8 deep and never really were multi-generational was never a gang, but more of a crew.
