Puerto Rican Tigers in the Bronx, NY

Many neighborhoods can not maintain themselves with the level of competition. They may get pulled into other neighborhoods or they just fade out. Only discuss those areas from LOS ANGELES that are gone.

Puerto Rican Tigers in the Bronx, NY

Unread post by alexalonso » June 30th, 2019, 10:21 am

My uncle, Fernando "Tito" Rodgriguez was a cofounder of the Puerto Rican Tigers in the Bronx, New York. He was born in December 25, 1932 and died to health complications in 1997. Never once had a chance to talk to him about the Puerto Rican tigers, but my father told me stories of his older brother. I wish I knew more about it but my father passed in 2015 and he gave me only a few stories of the Puerto Rican tigers, but Tito was suppose to me a main factor of that gang during the 1950s in the Bronx. They often fought with irish gangs in the Bronx.
