In 1982 Jerome "Bone" Dunn was killed in March of 1982 at intersection of 88th Place and McKinley Avenue. Barry Glenn "Big Time" Williams was convicted for his murder and at least one other murder and was sentenced to Death.

Big Time was a Blood from Swan, and Dunn was a Crip from Grape Street. In the car with Big Time was another Blood, Curtis Thomas, and according to court documents, he may have been the shooter. The Bloods may have thought Bone was from Avalon Gardens Crips.

Died March 19, 2008 at 1:07 a.m.

Kejuan Edward Bullard, 23, a black man, was shot about 10:20 p.m. Tuesday, March 18, near the parking lot across from BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse at 11101 183rd St. in Cerritos.
Deputies patrolling the area heard gunshots and responded to the lot. Upon arrival, deputies found Bullard on the ground with gunshot wounds. He was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 1:08 a.m. the next day.
Authorities said witnesses saw two black men running from the scene after the shooting; one man was carrying a handgun.

Branden Bullard, 25
Died Jan. 27, 2008 at 1:35 a.m.

Branden "B.L." Bullard, 25, a black man, was shot in an alleged gang-related shooting at 147 E. Florence Ave. in South Los Angeles about 1 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 27. According to police, an unknown gunman fired several shots into a crowd of gang members that were partying inside a rented hall. Bullard was taken by ambulance to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Five other people were taken to various hospitals, said Officer Norma Eisenman, a spokeswoman for the Los Angeles Police Department. All five were in stable condition, she added.

According to the LAPD, Bullard's shooting has triggered a series of retaliation shootings in Watts that have left two other men dead and 13 wounded. Los Angeles Times story

I saw the video of this incident. Tweeder kept on pressing an issue with the shooter, which you can clearly see had not intention of shooting, but then Tweeder, who was deep with his homies, caused the shooter to retreat to his car. Tweeder kept following him while most of his homies went into the skating rink. The shooter got to his car and Tweeder is still bangin' on him at the same time. The shooter went to his car, got a gun, and then shot Tweeder. If Tweeder went into the skating rink like the plan was, he would have never got shot.

I heard Tweeder and some Grapes were stomping some EC out, ECs came back shooting out their truck

Casey Logan was the shooter and after he was arrested, the video of the parking lot became the evidence against him. I met his attorney, Victor Salerno, and he showed me the video.

I dont know if there was a previous incident at the skating rink or some where esle. If I remember correctly. Kejuan "BL" Bullard and he crew just showed up to go skating and just so happened that Casey Logan, from ECC, was there.

I think that Logan took a deal and never went to trial.
