i have assembled a list of 179 RIP of the Rollin 60s, WOW! That has got to be the records for any LA neighborhood. Even more than Temple, White Fence, El Hoyo Mara, neighborhoods that are pushing 90 - 100 years of existence. The 60s been out for 35 - 40 years? Also I am missing at least 20 more names.

I researched it and this is the correct entry:

- Kevin Anthony "Kidd 1" Sykes, 18, (Jan. 13, 1965 - May 22, 1983)
- Kenny "Ken Bone 1" Johnson, 18 (Feb. 18, 1965 - May 23, 1983)

They were shot at the same time, but, Ken Bone was probably pronounced dead after midnight while Kidd was pronounced before midnight, but they were together even though they have different death dates.

Was Craig Sykes, 45, the brother of Kevin Anthony "Kidd 1" Sykes, 18, who was killed back in 1983 from 60s too.

Craig Sykes, a 45-year-old black man, was fatally shot Thursday, Dec. 16, in the 6400 block of South Arlington Avenue in Hyde Park, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Authorities received a call regarding a shooting and a person down about 9 p.m., said LAPD Criminal Gang and Homicide Det. L. Doster, who is handling the case.

Police arrived and found Sykes suffering from several gunshot wounds. Paramedics were called and he was taken to California Hospital Medical Center where he was pronounced dead, Doster said.

During the investigation, detectives learned that a black man wearing dark clothing walked up to Sykes, asked where he was from and shot him. After the shooting, the assailant fled.

Doster said although Sykes was not an active gang member, the shooting is possibly gang-related.

Anyone with information about the shooting or the identity of the assailant is asked to contact Dets.Doster or M. Kellum at (213) 485-4341. Tipsters who would like to remain anonymous can call Crime Stoppers at (800) 222-8477.

According to some comments on the Homicide Report he was, although not active anymore.
The sister also says that in 1983, two of her brothers, one of which was Kidd 1, were killed. So there is a third brother of this family, who got killed and probably was from 60's too.
