Adin Henay Godoy, 29, A Mara Salvatrucha gang member was shot and killed on Saturday, February 11, 2006 in the North Hills area, Front of 15543 Rayen street in the San Fernando Valley. Godoy was a member of the Mara Salvatrucha 13 street gang. The victim had an "MS13" tattoo on his back. He had lived in the same block where he was killed in territory claimed by the Landon street 13 gang. The murder occurred at approximately 3:18 a.m, Luis "Tiny" Martinez, a Langdon street 13 gang member was convicted of the murder.

Rogelio Ferman, 23, A Mara Salvatrucha gang member was trying to elude a pursuing Honda on Sunday, July 26, 1995 in Canoga Park, Los Angeles, California, when he crashed his Nissan Maxima into a light pole near Winnetka Avenue and Roscoe Boulevard. Ferman was killed moments later when two men got out of a Honda and gunned him down as he sat in his car. Sothol Roeng, 22, of Van Nuys, Ha Khanh Truong, 19, of Milpitas, and Tuan Anh Hoang, 19, of San Jose, California, all gang members of the Van Nuys Asian Boys gang were arrested for the murder.

Ernesto "Smokey" Miranda, 38, One of the original founding members of Mara Salvatrucha gang in Los Angeles, California, was shot to death on Saturday, May 16, 2006 in El Salvador, just hours before declining an invitation to celebrate the prison release of another MS13 gang member.

Black Sabatt, A Mara Salvatrucha gang member was beat to death in 1985 in an alleyway between 6th street & Virgil avenue by Crazy Riders 13 gang members. He was taken to a hospital and passed away.

On Monday, May 29, 2000, at approximately 1:07 a.m., Van Nuys Patrol Officers responded to a radio call of "Shots Fired" at 14430 Valerio Street. At the location, Officers found two victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Victim #1, Francisco Nieto, a male Hispanic 19 years of age, a resident of Van Nuys was suffering from a Gunshot Wound to the upper torso. Victim #2, Enrique Somar, a male Hispanic, 20 years of age, also a resident of Van Nuys was suffering from a Gunshot Wound to the leg. Both victims were transported by Rescue Ambulance to a local Hospital where Francisco Nieto expired at 1:44 a.m. Enrique Somar was treated and released.

Around 2000, some MS moved into Valerio Gardens. Valerio Street was no longer there. Most of the ABZ were locked up.

At first it was fine but later ABZ shot 2 of the MS. 1 died, 1 wounded.
