On February 24, 2004, Alfred "Lil Tigger" Salinas an Avenues gang member was shot and killed in front of his house, the man convicted for his murder was Frank "Pops" Guttierez from the Highland Park 13 gang. According to the LAPD, Alfred "Lil Tigger" Salinas was approaching his house when he was ambushed by Frank "Pops" Guttierez, "Pops" fired a few rounds but missed, "Lil Tigger" ran towards the front door of his house and "Pops" followed. Alfred Salinas mother came out of the house and got inbetween both of the men, but Frank "Pops" Guttierez continued shooting and killed Alfred "Lil Tigger" Salinas.

Joseph Torres, 27, An Avenues gang member, became the first known casualty of Richie "Little Peewee" Aguirre, 14. He was found shot to death on Isabel Drive on July 22, 1995. Torres was killed because he was collecting taxes in an area once run by Alex "Peewee" Aguirre, but was giving the proceeds to another Mexican Mafia member, who was trying to expand his turf in North East L.A, he was executed for his disobedience.

Edgar Daniel De Jesus, 20, An Avenues gang member, was shot and killed by Highland Park 13 gang member, David "Timer" Carranza on December 22, 2011. De Jesus was walking with two women, when a dark, four-door honda, drove slowly past them, the two men got out of the vehicle and approached De Jesus and the two women. Carranza said, "Avenues", and after De Jesus replied, "Avenues", Carranza pulled out a gun and fired shots directly at De Jesus, killing him. Carranza was later apprehended and sentenced to life in prison.

Daniel Ivan "Clever" Leon, 22, An Avenues gang member was shot and killed by LAPD at the intersection of Drew street & Estara Avenue in Glassell Park, Los Angeles, California at about noon on Thursday, February 21, 2008. Leon had been involved in the drive-by shooting of a 36 year old latino in cypress park a short time before his confrontation with police. Police officers pulled over a white nissan sedan carrying three men, one of which was Leon, Leon was armed with an AK-47 when he exited the vehicle, officers fired on Leon killing him and injuring another man.
