Paul Revere Williams, black architect in Los Angeles

Paul Revere Williams, (February 18, 1894 – January 23, 1980) was a black architect based in Los Angeles, California credited with building the Nickerson Gardens Housing projects, which we mentioned in out oldest Bloods video from July 17, 2016




Williams practiced largely in Southern California and designed the homes of numerous celebrities, including Frank Sinatra, Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz, Lon Chaney, Barbara Stanwyck and Charles Correll. He also designed many other public and private buildings around Los Angeles.
