Tomahawk From Brims 1972

Unread post by LionTheOracle » November 27th, 2017, 8:58 am

I was discussing some of my notes with my mom regarding Brims and Harlem. Since my mom was from Brims while my uncle was from Harlem I asked her a few questions about the atmosphere in the area a that time.

Were the Brims a well respected gang at this period?

She responded "hell yes", and she said there was a guy name Tomahawk who everyone feared. I'm not sure who that is.

She also said there was a bloody park near Jefferson and Normandie. I looked through Google Earth and found that it had to be Denker Recreation Center.
