Rapper Shot Outside Hot 97 Radio Station

Police are trying to figure out the circumstance that led to a rapper being shot outside the Hot 97 radio station in Manhattan Wednesday.

According to investigators, a rapper who goes by the name of Gravy was shot in the buttocks around 9 p.m. last night.

Despite being shot, Gravy - whose real name is Jamal Wollard, according to the New York Post - went upstairs anyway to do a radio interview.

Police responded to the scene after receiving reports of gunfire, but they say no one has told them anything about what happened.

This isn't the first shooting outside Hot 97. Rapper Lil’ Kim is serving a one-year jail sentence for lying to investigators about a shooting that took place in front of the radio station in 2001.
