Gucci Mane (born Radric Davis), is an American rapper from Birmingham, Alabama. His single, "Icy" has become a major hit (debuted at #24 on Billboard Hot Rap Song Charts), and his album, Trap House, (which came out the day he was released on $100,000 bond for murder), debuted at #101 on the billboard 200. Gucci Mane's second album was released October 24, 2006, titled Hard 2 Kill.

A mixtape called Street Certified Vol. 2 was released with a bunch of disses toward Young Jeezy from another artist on Big Cat Records named Black Magik, with Gucci only on a couple of them. Jeezy never responded to Black Magik's disses as said in one of the songs: "Gucci ain't bang first, I shitted on you, constipated and all I shitted on you".The three songs that were mainly Gucci Manes disses are: Round 1 (Gucci Mane vs. Jeezy), Mini 14 (Round 2), and 745. He is also currently beefing with Jay-Z, as well as Young Jeezy, and BMF. Jeezy actually did respond to one of the disses, the track is called "Stay Strapped" and it is placed to the A.S.A.P. instrumental of T.I. Also in 2005 Gucci Mane relased tracks on a Big Cat mixtape with shots aimed towards former artist signed to Big Cat. "C-Time". C-TIME fired back along with Young Jeezy on a track called "BIG CAT PRESENTS CUCCI MANE". since then the fued has continued but neither of the artist have yet to speak publicly about one another.

i cant even front i like this dudes swagger,& his lyric's is not that bad...just some of his beat's could be better...alotta dude's dont like this dude & say how he fake but the fact of the matter remain's...he killed 1 of jeezy's boy's,did a bid now hes back out making videos/music still i mean that speak's for itself

The fact that you think all people dont like Gucci because of the Jeezy situation is crazy. I for one dont like the dudes music cuz the dudes flow isnt it for me, secondly he has nothing to say. Legit reason. I dont know Jeezy so why involve myself in a personal beef that he had with Gucci? Point blank that dude can kick rocks in the rap game.

I was basin my shit off of what niggaz told me and what I seen wrote about dude and the situation. You right, but I wasn't even thinkin of the rap aspect, cuz everytime dude came up people was hatin not cuz of his music but becuase of his relationship with Jeezy (at least when I talked to people, or seen what they had to say on music forums).

Yea he had his situation with Jeezy, protected himself as a man and I respect that...but all in all that ish doesnt matter. When it comes to music he has no standing.
