What happened to real west coast gangster rap. Their lyrics were good but that music they had to rap to sucked..sounded to east coast top 40

Sounds totally different to me,,like the first SCC album was tight,,then it got goofy after that,,just refering to the music.

I guess 90's westcoast gangsta beats and riffs is different than millenium ones. I hear a big difference between then and now. Some still keep it old school, but that Rep yo Set beats and riffs sounded too eastcoast style to me. But I'm alot older than alot of cats on here. The 80's and 90's were like yesterday to me. Some people on here were like under 5 years old in 88 and 89.
