But remember at one time, this the kind music that stayed coming out of NY. This kind of music is no longer the majority anymore...Look at some of the heavyweights from NY who you no longer hear from, or have conformed to the bs thats flooding the game right now. Back in the day, not too many strayed from what made them...Props though on that Hi-Tek...

I know a lot of dudes doing underground NYC shit that is straight up lyrical and for the love, that you will never hear about but who are nice, like dozens and dozens. And we talk about it like Who the fuck is Mims and where did he come from? He is not known at all in NYC in the lyrical circuit, which nobody nationwide is talking about or caring about right now anyways. He's from Washington Heights but he went to Miami to blow up. That's adapting and overcoming, aside from the art form, NY knows how to hustle to where you have a dude perfect that style, and yeah he 'sold out' by not doing it the new york way but I think personally he did that snap music sound even better than some south dudes!

is gettin' cheddar, that all. That said, there is superior lyricists everywhere, ill wordplay is ill wordplay, shouldnt matter where they hail from.
