not the sh-t i listen to but as far as commercial rap yeah it does sucks but some is good for parties and stuff i just miss the 90s so f-cking much these new days are depressing too much bling and stuck upness going on and people have changed period

i doubt that highly, with the re-emergence of pseudo gangsta rap, conscious artist such as kanye west and talib kweli and mos def getting mainstream recognition, and the various assortments of sub genres. if theres something iin hip hop that youre looking for its there, u just gotta look

yea i agree...there is some stuff that comes out that is good, but its nothin compared to the classics that came out during the 90's era. 36 chambers, Illmatic, the chronic, doggystyle, all eyez on me, the solo wu projects...those were classics. dont see too much of that today.

Yeah, I don't listen to anything past the mid 90's. Actually it's not just rap music but ALL music.

theres some good shit nowadays but you gotta look harder for it. What i do realise when i look through my CDs now though is that the older rap CDs i can easily listen to every song (just about) but todays stuff theres normally only 2-3 tracks i like to listen to.

example (and im sure alot will disagree) but i can easily listen to Dre The Chronic every song all the way through but Dre 2001 i cannot listen to all the songs (about 50% of them)
