Maybe in Chicago, but elsewhere IGD's are a white/Latino/mixed "unauthorized" offshoot of GD's. They're in Detroit, Florida and the South in general.

none of those gangs you list are big in the MidWest. In Illinois State Prison the dominant whites are Folk Nation affiliated: SCR's, Popes, White D's. There's also a couple of white power gangs in the Illinois system. There's NorthSiders and Southern Illinois Association (basically hicks from Southern Illinois).

I've heard there are AB's in Illinois but I don't think there very prominent.

I know for a fact that Alice Baker set up shop at Marion penitentiary in Illinois.

John Gotti hired the AB to punch the ticket of this black dude that attacked Gotti (Gotti called him a nigger) when he was serving time at Marion. The AB never got to make the hit because the black dude was moved to Supermax in Colorado.

Marion's a federal prison with people from all over the country.

I'm talking about Illinois State prisons like Statesvill and Joliet. They're dominated by Chicago gangs: People and Folks Nations.

I got it off a web sight on prison gangs. There was a section on white gangs, it listed the the top ten and top 25 white gangs in US prisons.

The SCR's haven't been racist for years. Several Chicago Latino gangs started out white - SD's, Insane Deuces, Saints, Latin Counts (some dispute this). How racist could they have been if they let in all those Mexicans and/or Puerto Ricans? Could you see the AB or NLR becoming Latino majority? Hell no.

You obviously just don't like white boys. SCR's are a white majority gang, alot of Latinos and some other, but mostly white. They have 8 sections in Chicago and a few in the Cook County burbs. The Chicagogangs.org has some pics of Royals and they all look white to me except one or two Mexicans

I don't know anything about IGD but the name pops up alot on gang lists and they are found in some state prisons so I'm assuming they're at least a real gang. Maybe not that hard but not wannabes. If you're locked up for gang realted activity you're automatically no longer a wannabe in my book.

Ashkenazi (sp) jews are white, they aren't middle eastern. When you ask them where they are from they will say well my grandmom is from poland, nd her mother was from russia, and all of that. The NLR has so many half breeds? Let's make a deal, SG. I won't pretend I'm an expert on Chicago gangs if you won't pretend you're an expert on California gangs. The NLR accepts members who have little non-white ancestry, generally Mexican or Native American, they don't make up a large chunk of their gang and they usually are white looking. There are no overtly non-white NLR's. They draw their membership from angry young whites in the CA prsion system. There's no shortage. They don't need to out source to Latinos for new blood. The racial seperatism in CA state prison gangs wouldn't allow that, anyway.

As for Royals being Latino now. I could care less. I used to go on the Chicagohoodz message board a few years ago and there were several Royals that were regulars and they were self identified whites. Rival gang members on the board regularly called the Royals white boys and other racial put downs. There was even a skinhead from ChiTown Mafia Skins that called the Royals "wiggers". Jinx even told me they were mostly white. I was just stating what I thought was the truth. If I'm wrong I'm wrong.

It's hard to imagine Latinos joining a gang that has a history of hating Latinos but I know in Chi Town it's all about money now and not loyalty.

Deal, Silencio. My info on NLR comes second-hand from Brothers of mine been down in joints with em, so I shoudn't put it out as str8 knowledge. The part about the Brand in Illinois, that surprised me. Only recently found out from Brothers inside how much swing they've got up here now.

SCR, man, I don't realy care either. Truthfuy, I kno quite a few old-skool Royals that are okay with me. I go tno clue what they're doing in Wack-town, I talk to a Royal down home says their sets are almost solid White. For whatever reason, the Chicago sets have gone mostly Latino...it's just who lives in those hoods. One thing to meditate on, like the joints are on seg in Cali, that's how our 'hoods mostly are up here.
