Someone on here linked the LA Times Homicide Blog and i came across Big Evils Brother who was killed in 2007.

http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/homicid ... urder.html

Timothy Johnson, 37

Timothy Johnson, 37, a black man, was shot multiple times at 939 E. 92nd Street in Watts at about 3:23 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 25, and died at the scene. Police officers had received a "shots fired" call and found him. He had been visiting friends in the area.

He had gone to a party that night, then had stopped on his way home to socialize with friends outside. His shooters came by walking or driving. He was hit multiple times. When officers arrived, he was alone, dead on the ground, and the people who had been outside with him had disappeared. A pit-bull puppy chained in the yard was curled on his body.

Cleamon "Big Evil" Johnson had his conviction and death sentence vacated by The California Supreme Court earlier this month. The high court ruled that the judge presiding over Johnson's 1997 murder trial erred in removing a juror accused of deciding the case before deliberations. The conviction and death sentence of Michael "Fat Rat" Allen, the accused triggerman in the double homicide which landed them on death row was also tossed.

I was going to court with evil and fat rat, back in 1997, they were going through their penalty phase, and I was on a retrial after a hung jury. ( I got another hung jury) . Evil was really cool. Even though I'm a Sureno, we would talk a lot. I hope he is doing ok.

I just read that evil got his death penalty overturned, that's cool. Our courtrooms were next to each other, so we would be next to each other at court holding tank

Has anyone heard if he's out or not. What does that mean for him, if he's not released yet? He was accused of a whole lot of murders, does anyone know if he was convicted of any other charges?

He is still awaiting his new trial in the LA County jail. Had his death penalty over turned but he still facing a murder charge from the early 1990s.
