I feel that, I went on the meagans law site and them little blue squares(meaning sex offenders) popped up everywhere in my neighborhood. Got several living in the same motels, I guess they use them to house them in. Even got some of the homies from the neighborhood on there too.... And it's everyday life to see the other types you named also...

Those little blue boxes popped up all over my area too. They are everywhere. At least these websites can help parents and the community know where these offenders live. And as for them living in hotels or halfway houses.....they are only SUPPOSED to have a certain amount of sex offenders living under one roof or in a pre determined sq mile radius, and I know for a fact that the state of CA has been found breaking that law repeatedly.

not all of the dudes that are registered sex offenders are really sex offenders tho.
Some went to jail for violent crimes so by default where automatically added to the list.
there was a special on the news bout this dude that got time for manslaughter and got put on the list from my area.
he said something about he would rather let people think he was a murderer then a guy that rapes kids and stuff like that.
if i can find the article or the video of it ill post it.

You cant watch your kids ALL the time. They want to ride their bikes up and down the block, play barbies out front with their friends....etc. Wouldnt you like to know if there is a sex offender on your block watching them?RuthlessCray wrote:I don't see this as helping parents at all. Whats really the point? You should be watching your kids anyways..and assume ALL strangers can be dangerous to your kids.

I guess, but I'd just assume they're everywhere. Which they pretty much are. So it all comes down to, watching your kids. Knowing where they are, or who they're with. Your neighbor may not be on that site but he could become a sex offender. You don't knowChristina Marie wrote:You cant watch your kids ALL the time. This site normally has better pictures and good conviction information. The maps are about the same and the rest of the info is also about the same. I find it a lot more user friendly.

i kinda see your point. its nice to know where somebody Fd up is livin, but what do you do? not drive by their house? dont let your kids play outside? the only thing i really see it could be used as a tool for "payback".RuthlessCray wrote:I don't see this as helping parents at all.
