I believe the book is called The Black Hand, and it is written by Chris Blatchford.

Didin't Boxer drop out partly because of a failed attempt with Benjamin "Topo" Peters to oust the Godfather at the time, Reuben "Tupi" Hernandez? I think he was 3rd in command behind those two. That would probably make "Tupi" the Godfather but hey, nobody on here is going to confirm that.

Boxers book was good and he had some good points there. His book is easily the best book I have read on the topic. The book by Tony Rafael was a joke. Its worth the money.

He gets into very good detail of how he and others got in and moved up the ranks. It also covers how down the road alot of the brothers end up going at it with each other. Alot of it has to do with being in the SHU. They get bored and paranoid and eventually starting plotting against each other.

And thats true. Prison is boring.
