Whats up RSC ETK? My first day here one of the moderators and one of the comedians here told me I was being disrectful and netbanging. I say that to say i find your name and signature a bit offensive. You might want to rethink one or the other if not both.

Are there a lot of Eight-Tray's running around Canada these days?

To stay on topics, I have read all of the books mentioned above as well. Do or Die was good, I wished she would have interviewed more gang members though. Monster was a great read, but some of the real G's on this site doubt the complete authentisity of it's contents. Uprising had a great message, although it was written in 1992 after the riots, so I am not sure the the truce is still on like it was.

Also try La Vida Loca, and the Latin Kings book.

Your name and signature is offensive. What's even more offensive is that your claiming ETG in Canada.

Maybe you should think about enriching your life while your there instead bringing misery from south los angeles to ontario. Maybe your a canadian, and you never been to L.A., if that's the case don't be a copy cat.

If you are from L.A., and your peoples took you to Canada to get you away from the madness. Then Don't Be Stupid By Bringing The Madness With You.

Everybody wants to be that BIG fish in a little pond.

I have relatives up in TOronto and i never heard of any Eight Tray's up there.

There are more Caribbean based gangs and Asian gangs and Sri Lankan gangs and such.

They have their own names like Shower Posse (based on a notorious gang in Kingston Jamaica), Malvern town crew, I think G-way boyz, 18 Buddhas, etc etc.

THe only Crips i heard about are from the west end of Toronto in an area called Rexdale? I think the two biggest Crip sets their are called Jamestown and Mount Olive. These are two rival sets and there has been a string of driveby shootings between these two gangs in the last 2 weeks of july 2005.

But Eight Trays in TOronto?? No way, maybe in some smaller town where the bored teens have nothing better to do but emulate a gang from Los Angeles lol

Was there ever any follow up on what became of any of the people from this book. (With the exception of Monster who I believe is serving a 5 and a half year sentence). Hart, G Rocc etc.

That might be true Bgcasper, but Leon Bing asks if they know Big Monster which they reply that they do. I think Cyco Mike if not Eric, he says he cool, he cool and another one says I know him well I seen him. He's from the notorious Eight Trey Gangster and their cool with that set. But then when you watch War Stories there's this cat who's an Eight Trey named G-Rocc and he talks about spending time behind bars, so it's a bit confusing

Didn't it say something about g rocc going back to his old neighbourhood to pick up the friends that say they've heard of Monster? So could be the one from ETG, as he also mentions an incident involving his big homeboy Joker, the same incident is mentioned in Monsters book.

It's confusing really, Dinky. 'Cause sure I kinda read something which was similar to what happened to Big Jokers folks, which was spoken by G-Rocc. However it's not clear whether he was an ETG soldier or not, I think we can get clarity from Leon Bing, she's on Twitter but I'll try to get her email address
