Book Club for 8/1/05, A Rainbow of Gangs by James Vigil

Unread post by alexalonso » July 14th, 2005, 2:56 pm

get book: https://amzn.to/2MSPj1W

I am starting a book club on the site. The way it works, is that every month we agree on a certain book to read, and for those that are interested in reading can join the club.

During that month we will read the book, start a string on that book, discuss the book while we are reading it, and debate about the book if need be. It will begin on August 1, 2005.

I am open to reading anything on urban culture, it can be a gang book, a hip hop book, autobiographies, mafia books, etc.

So for those who want to join the book club, i want to hear from people and want to hear what book that you have not read but want to read. If there is a consensus on the a book between now and Aug 1, then we will start with that book. If not, I will pick the first book.

cool, the book has 11 chapters. We will try to read it at this pace.

Week one = Chapters 1, 2, 3
Week two = Chapters 4, 5, 6
Week three = Chapters 7, 8, 9
Week four = Chapter 10, 11

You can read faster if you want, but at the end of each week, this is a good pace to keep to finish the book.

if anyone need to buy a used book, you can go to https://amzn.to/2MSPj1W and that site will give you a list of book stores all over the world selling that book used.
