It's the violence that's at issue. Look at the number of murders from the like the first year crack hit in the '80s compared to the previous year? I'm searching google like crazy trying to find those stats, and, of course, they aren't exactly easy to find. Obviously, some people don't want us to think about that whole aspect of it.
