Goodfellas (GFS) is a tagger crew in Los Angeles County but they (police) want to define them as a street gang so that they can prosecute them more rigorously. The police actually testified in open court that GFS is a street gang. I'll get more details on this soon.

What constitutes a gang in Los Angeles? Since they are just a tagger crew that will have more balance in the hand of Goodfellas. They don't get tattoos, shoot anyone, or sell drugs they are good.

This isnt new. Cops label tagger crews as gangs all the time so they can give them gang terms and gang enhancements. Thus longer jail sentences.

There is a specific definition to a street gang that allows the State of California to define any group of youth that have a common name as a gang, but the legislature never intended for just random groups of youth, mostly black and brown to be prosecuted as such.
